30-Day Board & Train
Transform your dog's obedience, confidence, and reliability with an immersive 30-day Board & Train program designed to build lasting results in the real world. Through multiple structured training sessions each day, your dog receives individualized, progressive training tailored to their temperament, learning style, and goals.
This program focuses on developing reliable obedience both at home and in distracting environments. Dogs learn essential commands including sit, down, place, heel, recall, crate training, extended down stays, leash manners, impulse control, and proper socialization. Along the way, they also gain confidence through structured exposure to new environments, people, sounds, and everyday situations.
As your dog progresses, training extends beyond the home and into the real world. Field trips throughout Redding and the surrounding North State become an important part of the program, allowing your dog to practice their skills in a variety of environments. Training may include outings to local parks, pet-friendly stores, the Sacramento River Trail, the Sundial Bridge, Whiskeytown, and hiking trails throughout the Shasta area, helping your dog develop reliable obedience no matter where life takes you.
You'll receive weekly progress updates with photos and videos so you can follow your dog's transformation throughout the program. At the conclusion of training, we'll complete a comprehensive go-home lesson where I'll teach you how to communicate effectively with your dog and maintain everything they've learned. Two weeks later, we'll meet again for a follow-up session to reinforce your handling skills, answer any questions, and ensure you and your dog continue building on your success together.

2-Week Board & Train
The 2-Week Board & Train is an excellent introduction to professional training for owners who want to make meaningful progress without committing to a full 30-day program. While two weeks isn't enough time to achieve the same level of reliability and long-term results as a month of immersive training, it provides a strong foundation and can produce significant improvements in your dog's behavior and obedience.
Your dog will receive multiple individualized training sessions each day, focusing on the goals that matter most to you. Whether you're looking to improve leash manners, recall, place, crate training, impulse control, socialization, or basic obedience such as sit, down, and heel, every training plan is customized to your dog's temperament, current skill level, and your lifestyle.
As your dog progresses, they'll practice their new skills in a variety of real-world environments through structured public outings and field trips, helping them learn to remain calm and responsive outside the home.
This program is ideal for owners who are just beginning their training journey, have a few specific goals they'd like to accomplish, or want to experience professional training before committing to a more comprehensive program. If your dog requires extensive behavior modification or you're looking for the highest level of reliability, the 30-Day Board & Train is generally the recommended option.
Throughout the program, you'll receive weekly progress updates with photos and videos. At the end of training, we'll complete a go-home lesson to teach you how to maintain your dog's new skills, followed by a two-week follow-up appointment to answer questions, refine your handling, and help ensure continued success at home.

2-Week Refresher Board & Train
Keep your dog's training sharp with a two-week Refresher Board & Train, available exclusively for graduates of my 30-Day Board & Train program. Just like people, dogs benefit from regular practice and continued education. This program is the perfect way to reinforce existing skills, fine-tune obedience, and address any habits that may have developed since returning home.
During their stay, your dog will receive multiple individualized training sessions each day, along with continued real-world practice through public outings, hikes, and structured field trips. We revisit all core obedience skills—including heel, recall, place, down stays, and leash manners—while also introducing more advanced training if your dog is ready for the next challenge.
Many owners choose to schedule a refresher while they're away on vacation, allowing their dog to return home not only well cared for, but with their training polished and strengthened. It's an excellent way to maintain long-term reliability and continue building on the foundation we've already established together.
As with all training programs, you'll receive progress updates throughout your dog's stay, followed by a go-home lesson to review any new skills and ensure you're prepared to maintain their progress once they're back home.

30-Day Puppy Foundations Board & Train
Give your puppy the best possible start with a comprehensive training program designed to build confidence, create healthy habits, and establish the foundation for a lifetime of success. This immersive 30-day program is tailored specifically for puppies under one year of age and provides multiple structured training sessions every day, ensuring consistent, progressive learning in a real-world environment.
Every puppy progresses at their own pace, so training is customized to their age, temperament, and developmental stage. Puppies under six months focus on age-appropriate skills such as socialization, confidence building, environmental exposure, crate training, potty training, leash introduction, handling exercises, and learning how to calmly navigate the world around them. Puppies six months and older begin building reliable obedience, including sit, down, place, heel, recall, leash manners, and impulse control, while continuing to strengthen their confidence and social skills.
Throughout their stay, your puppy will receive structured enrichment, daily exercise, and thoughtful exposure to new environments, people, sounds, and experiences—all while being guided by a certified dog trainer and behaviorist.
You'll receive weekly progress updates with photos and videos so you can follow your puppy's journey every step of the way. At the end of the program, we'll complete a comprehensive go-home lesson where I'll teach you how to confidently communicate with your puppy and maintain the training they've learned. Two weeks later, we'll meet again for a follow-up session to fine-tune your handling skills, answer questions, and ensure you and your puppy continue building on the foundation we've created together.

Weekly Updates
The go-home session is an essential part of the training process and is designed to help create a smooth transition from training back into your home environment. During this session, you'll learn how to effectively communicate with your dog, understand the expectations they've been taught, and practice the skills needed to maintain their progress.
Consistency is key to long-term success, and this session helps bridge the gap between the structure of training and everyday life. By learning how to properly handle, reinforce, and continue your dog's training, you and your dog will have the tools needed to succeed together as a team.

The follow-up appointment provides an opportunity to evaluate your dog's continued progress, answer any questions that come up after returning home, and help fine-tune your training approach. Building reliable dogs for real life
-

Leash Manners
A loose leash makes for an enjoyable walk. I help dogs learn to walk calmly without pulling, making walks more relaxed and enjoyable for both of you.
-

Socialization
Proper socialization builds confidence and helps prevent fear-based behaviors. I guide dogs through controlled interactions, ensuring positive experiences with new people, dogs, and environments.
-

Reactivity
Whether it’s barking, lunging, or over-excitement, I work on reducing reactivity through structured training, clear communication, and confidence-building exercises
-

E-collar Training
When used correctly, e-collars are a powerful tool for reliable off-leash obedience and clear communication. I teach proper e-collar use to create a responsive and well-mannered dog and am certified in the use of this tool.
-

Puppy Training
The foundation you build in the early months shapes your dog’s future behavior. I focus on essential skills like obedience, confidence-building, and proper socialization to set puppies up for success.
-

Jumping and Rude Behaviors
Excitement is great, but manners matter. I help dogs learn polite greetings and impulse control so they can interact with people in a calm and respectful way.
-

Anxiety and Nervousness
Fearful dogs need the right guidance to build confidence. Through structured exposure and confidence-boosting exercises, I help nervous dogs feel more secure in their surroundings.
-

Destructive Behaviors
Chewing, digging, and other destructive habits often stem from boredom, anxiety, or lack of structure. I address the root cause and provide training solutions to redirect these behaviors into positive outlets.
